We want you to have a great experience. Here's exactly how cancellations, refunds, and changes work.

HOW BOOKINGS WORK
When you book through Jet Ski Rentals of Miami, you're paying us a Booking Fee (shown clearly at checkout) for our booking and marketing service. The rest of the price - the rental itself plus sales tax - you pay directly to the Operator at the dock.
We're not the Operator. We're the platform that connects you to one.
YOUR BOOKING TIMELINE
- You book online. You pay the Booking Fee. The booking is sent to the Operator.
- Operator reviews. The Operator has up to 24 hours to accept, decline, or propose another time.
- If Operator declines or doesn't respond: booking is automatically canceled and we refund your Booking Fee in full, automatically, to the same card. Allow 5–10 business days for it to appear.
- If accepted: you get a confirmation with the Operator's name, address, and contact info. Show up, pay the Operator at the dock for the rental + sales tax, enjoy.
CANCELING YOUR BOOKING
More than 24 hours before start
Cancel through your confirmation email or by contacting us at contact@jetskisrentalmiami.com. We refund your Booking Fee in full. Refund posts to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Less than 24 hours before start, or no-show
Booking Fee is non-refundable. The Operator may also charge you a separate late-cancellation or no-show fee under their own policy - that's between you and the Operator.
How to reschedule
The Operator may be willing to reschedule you. Contact the Operator directly using the info in your confirmation email. We don't reschedule on the Operator's behalf.
IF THE OPERATOR CANCELS OR DOESN'T SHOW UP
Full refund of your Booking Fee. Contact us at contact@jetskisrentalmiami.com within 7 days. We'll refund the Booking Fee and follow up with the Operator. You may also be entitled to a refund or credit from the Operator under their own policy - we'll help you contact them.
BAD WEATHER OR UNSAFE CONDITIONS
If weather, a USCG advisory, a government order, or another safety issue makes your activity unsafe:
- The Operator will contact you as early as possible to cancel or reschedule.
- You can choose a full Booking Fee refund or a free reschedule.
- We do not charge a rebooking fee in these cases.
Light rain is not a cancellation reason. Operators may delay for short passing showers and still complete the activity. The Operator makes the safety call - we respect it.
OPERATOR'S OWN POLICIES
Each Operator may have additional cancellation, no-show, late-arrival, security-deposit, or damage policies that apply to the rental portion of your transaction. These are set by the Operator, not by us. The Operator should disclose them in the listing or at the dock. Read them.
REFUSAL OF SERVICE AT THE DOCK
The Operator may refuse to provide the Service (and the Operator's price is not refunded) if you:
- Cannot present a valid government-issued photo ID
- Cannot present a Florida Boating Safety Education ID Card (or take the temporary version) when required
- Do not meet the minimum age (e.g., PWC requires the renter to be 18+)
- Appear intoxicated or under the influence
- Cannot operate the equipment safely
- Refuse to sign the Operator's required waivers or safety acknowledgments
In these cases, the Booking Fee paid to us is still non-refundable. Read the listing carefully and bring what you need.
CHARGEBACKS
If you have a problem with your booking, contact us first at contact@jetskisrentalmiami.com. We respond to refund requests within 2 business days. Initiating a chargeback through your card issuer before contacting us may delay resolution and may result in account suspension.
HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND
Email contact@jetskisrentalmiami.com with:
- Your booking confirmation number
- The reason for the request
- Any supporting information (photos, weather screenshots, Operator messages)
We respond within 2 business days.
Refunds, when granted, post to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Policy. Changes apply only to bookings made after the effective date.
